A classically trained pianist with roots in jazz, blues, and Turkish classical music, she brings a musician\u2019s sensitivity and creative curiosity to the dance. She is the founder of Bluesla Ankara and a co-organizer of Bluesla Fest and Blues Lab Cappadocia, honoring blues as a living tradition rooted in Black American history. Grounded, joyful, and deeply present, Eylem brings warmth, intimacy, and thoughtful playfulness to every space she dances and teaches in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dara Anderbard (he\/him)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dara has been teaching and building dance communities since 2011. Based in Valencia, he has travelled widely across Europe sharing Blues, Lindy Hop, and Jazz, while quietly making events better behind the scenes. With faultless sense for drama and suspense, he reproduces country songs, mountain ballads, spirituals and the blues of old weird America. They focus on vaudeville blues and classic blues from the great female singers and composers, with a touch of rhythm &amp; blues and delta blues here and there. Their second album, You Know How I Feel, was released in 2024, containing eight songs written by blues royalty like Bessie Smith and Ida Cox. The band takes joy in finding unique instrument combinations, such as vocals, trombone and bass, which they use to bring out emotional interpretations, always respecting the history of the blues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sky is Crying consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kristin Ladstr\u00f6m (she\/her) &#8211; vocals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gustav Davidsson (he\/him) &#8211; trombone, piano, vocals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marcus Fenn  (he\/him) &#8211; electric bass, acoustic guitar, banjo, vocals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Sky is Crying will play on Saturday 18th of April.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"martin-and-friends\">Martin Berggren and the Blues Friends<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-839\" style=\"width:619px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/thebluesharbour.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/tea-party-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Formed especially for this event, the group will play songs written or made famous by artist like Catherine Russell, Nina Simone, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Di Anne Price, Louis Jordan, Peggy Lee, Billie Holliday and more.
